Delayed yet Monsoon sets in Karnataka
India Meteorological Centre(IMD) Bangalore today morning confirmed the onset of much awaited South-West Monsoon in most parts of Karnataka .
South West monsoon which arrived in Kerala on May 30 and it was predicted to hit Karnataka by June 5 has delayed by week due to some unfavorable reasons in Arabian sea.
“The southwest monsoon has arrived in south interior Karnataka and coastal Karnataka. Some parts of north interior Karnataka received rainfall on Thursday” – Bengaluru IMD Director M. Sundar Metri.
The IMD forecast cloudy sky with light to heavy rain in Bengaluru for Friday and Weekend.
