Coffee prices extended their week-long slide on Wednesday, with arabica dropping to a 5-week low and robusta sliding to a 2.75- month low. Coffee prices have sold off sharply over the past week on the outlook for Brazil?s coffee harvest to add more supply to the market. December arabica closed down -11.35 (-3.67%) on Wednesday at 298.10 US cents/lb and November ICE robusta coffee closed down -55 (-1.59% at US$ 3406/tonne.
