Black pepper slips on new arrival

Black pepper market in Kochi market ended lower on Wednesday.

According to sources, prices slips on increased arrival of new pepper in market.

Estimated market supply was at 30 tonnes, up by 10 tonnes from previous trading day.

Spot prices moved up by Rs 100 a quintal to Rs 36,800 (Ungarbled) and Rs 38,800 (Garbled).

Ungarbled – Rs 368/Kg and Garbled – Rs 388/Kg
