Black Pepper Stays Strong

Black pepper spot prices stays strong in limited activities as buyers were staying away from market due to raising prices.

Businessline reported as a result, there were neither any arrivals nor any off take on the terminal market.

Reports also claimed that Vietnam pepper destined for Nepal was landing via Gorakhpur in several of the consuming markets.

Spot prices raised by Rs 200 a quintal to Rs 41,200 (ungarbled) and Rs 43,200 (garbled).

Ungarbled – Rs 412 / Kg and Garbled – Rs 432 /Kg.
