Coffee prices settled sharply higher on Thursday, continuing the volatile price swings seen this week. ICE September Arabica coffee futures on Thursday closed up 38.10 or 12.30%, at 347.90 US cents/lb., while ICE September Robusta coffee futures closed up 302 or 8.07%, at US $ 4043/tonne.
