Black Pepper prices slips again

Spot prices of Black pepper on Monday slips due to selling pressure as harvesting season is at peak in Kerala and Karnataka.

Business Line reports “Harvesting has reached its full swing in Idukki and Wayanad districts of Kerala, while it has just begun in Karnataka”

Spot prices fell by Rs 200 a quintal to Rs 38,800 (ungarbled) and Rs 40,800 (garbled).

Ungarbled – Rs 388 / Kg and Garbled – Rs 408 /Kg.
