Black Pepper prices remains unchanged besides smuggling

Spot prices of Black pepper on Friday stayed firm on tight availability.

Business Line reports “Buyers have rejected pepper imported from Sri Lanka citing presence of mould which was imported via Turicorin.

Spot prices unchanged at  Rs 39,200 (ungarbled) and Rs 41,200 (garbled).

Ungarbled – Rs 392 / Kg and Garbled – Rs 412 /Kg.
