Black pepper continues its down trends
Spot Prices of Black Pepper continues to fall due to less demand.
Business Line reports pepper sellers stayed away from the market following persistent fall in the prices,Buyers were quoting ₹425 a kg for high range pepper and the sellers were reluctant.
It also reports that pepper from high ranges ,Wayanad ,plains arrived in markets.
Spot prices dropped by Rs 200 a quintal to Rs 41,900 (ungarbled) and Rs 43,900 (garbled).
Ungarbled – Rs 419 / Kg and Garbled – Rs 439 /Kg.
