Pepper Import continues,prices reaches low

Black pepper spot prices continues its fall on available of  huge imported pepper from Vietnam.

According to sources- Selling pressure has pounded  pepper on Friday pulling the prices further down putting the growers in terrible situation.

Kochi Spot prices dropped by Rs 300 a quintal to Rs 34,800 (ungarbled) and  Rs 36,800 (garbled).

Ungarbled – Rs 348 /Kg and Garbled – Rs 368/Kg.
