Black pepper remains steady

Black pepper spot prices remained steady as there were neither buying or selling at market on Thursday.

BusinessLine reports – The pepper growers were not ready to sell at buyers demanding price, buyers were not ready to pay more citing moisture content in pepper.

Prices remained at a quintal to Rs 48,400 (Ungarbled) and Rs 50,400 (Garbled).

Ungarbled – Rs 484/Kg and Garbled – Rs 504/Kg
