Arabica coffee sinks to 5-1/2 month low

Arabica coffee futures on ICE tumbled more than 3 percent to a 5-1/2-month low on Thursday.
Selling pressure added due to the weak Brazilian real which fell sharply against the U.S. dollar is attributed to this new lows in future trend .
March arabica coffee settled down 2.5 percent to the lowest since June 23.

BMI Research also said referring to good production prospects in Colombian and Brazil’s next crop that There has been limited market reaction to four-year lows in Brazilian export figures.

January robusta coffee futures also settled down 1.59 percent.
