Low demands drives prices down

Spot prices of Black pepper on Thursday reduced further as sellers and buyers were away from market citing continuous declining prices.

Business Line reports sellers are away from market due to low prices also buyers are keeping away anticipating a further fall in prices.

Spot prices gained by Rs 300 a quintal to Rs 38,600 (ungarbled) and Rs 40,600 (garbled).

Ungarbled – Rs 386 / Kg and Garbled – Rs 406 /Kg.
