Upward price trend in pepper on limited arrival

Black pepper spot prices in Kochi market on tuesday continue to show upward price trend due to less arrivals of stocks.

According to reports, Sellers are holding pepper anticipating better prices has led to limited stocks on offer in market. Around seven tonnes were on offer and registered up by Rs 1/kg.

Spot prices gained Rs 100 a quintal to Rs 31,800 (ungarbled) and Rs 33,800 (garbled).

Ungarbled – Rs 318/Kg and Garbled – Rs 338/Kg,New – Rs 303/Kg.
