Spices remained steady in an otherwise mute spices market in Mumbai Friday due to lack of demand amid adequate stocks position.

Following are today’s closing rates (in Rs with previous rates in brackets):

• Black pepper (per kg) 380/425 (380/425), 
• Ginger unbleached (per kg) 210 (210),
• Copra office Alappuzha (per quintal) 10,300 (10,300).
