Black pepper prices down on low demand

Black pepper spot prices dropped on Thursday due to abundant supply of pepper in market from Karnataka and Vietnam.

Spot prices dropped by Rs 200 a quintal to Rs 57,800 (ungarbled) and  Rs 60,800 (garbled).

Ungarbled – Rs 578 /Kg and Garbled – Rs 608 /Kg.
