Black pepper prices down on high availability
Spot prices of Black pepper on Wednesday has pulled down on availability of produce from Karnataka and imported pepper from Vietnam and Srilanka..
Business Line reports “Imported Pepper from Vietnam and Srilanka was sold at Rs 360 /Kg and Karnataka pepper at Rs 365 /Kg . Pulpally and Bathery pepper sold at Rs 360 /Kg and High range pepper at Rs 380 /Kg ”
Spot prices fell by Rs 100 a quintal to Rs 37,000 (ungarbled) and Rs 39,000 (garbled).
Ungarbled – Rs 370 / Kg and Garbled – Rs 390 /Kg.
